Acceptable Methods of Payment?
I accept email money transfer through your online banking to sun7designs@shaw.ca or you can snail mail a cheque made payable to Valery Klassen to 81 Shannon Circle SW Calgary, AB T2Y 2K4. I can also send you a PayPal invoice if these two options do not work for you. Please note that there will be a $2.50 PayPal processing fee.
What are your blankets made of?
My blankets have 2 sides; both made of 100% polyester Minkee fabric. All my personalized baby blankets are handmade and the fabric is purchased from reputable North American suppliers only. In some cases, the colors of my products may vary slightly from those depicted on my website, as a result of small differences in monitors and fabric dye lots. I try my best to select thread colors that match the baby’s sex (if known) and the colors in the fabric selections. My baby blankets are lightweight and are made without any fillings or battings making them versatile for many applications like bundling a baby, cuddling a little one, covering a nursing mother, stroller and car seat covers or liners. They wash better and are very cuddly without batting and make great swaddling blankets.
How do I care for my blanket?
I recommend a warm or cold-water wash on a normal or gentle cycle without bleach. Tumble dry on a low setting.
What can I have embroidered on the blanket?
All my blankets are customized to your specifications. You can have anything you want embroidered on the blanket. I will work with you to determine if all of your requests will fit in the design hoop.
Do you embroider the blanket before it is assembled?
Yes, I embroider one side before the blanket is assembled so the stitching will not show through on the underside and cause any irritation to babies’ skin.
How long does it take to get a blanket customized?
Standard turn-around time is approximately 7-10 business days after receipt of payment. I realize that there may be circumstances where you need the blanket for a specific event and I will do everything in my power to have your blanket ready in time. A rush order can usually be done in 3-4 business days.
Shipping Time
Blankets are shipped immediately after they are completed and within two weeks of ordering. Shipping rates are available under the “shipping” tab.
Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes I absolutely offer Gift Certificates. You may purchase a Gift Certificate by sending an email to sun7designs@shaw.ca. I can also mail the recipient a Gift Certificate on your behalf. Gift Certificates expire within one year of purchase.
I am buying the blanket as a gift. Can you ship it to the baby?
Yes, just make sure to include the shipping address and phone number for the baby (or the parents) who will receive your gift. I will include a gift card with any message you would like. Each blanket is tied with organza ribbon and wrapped in clear cellophane protective wrapping.
How much tax will I be charged?
GST will be charged on all Canadian orders.
Are your products returnable?
As the blanket has been personalized, I am unable to accept returns. In the unlikely event that Sun 7 Designs makes an error when putting a name on a blanket I will take full responsibility for fixing the error in a timely fashion. Please contact me if you have any questions.
